7. How long does it take to earn a degree from Lakeland Community College?

For a full time student, it should take about two years to earn an Associate's degree.

Skilled trade certificates can take up to one year, although many certificates can be completed in less than one year. 

However, approximately 75 percent Lakeland students are only able to attend the school part time, often because they are employed somewhere. In these cases, it remains up to each student how long the degree process will take.

There is no on-campus student housing available at Lakeland.
